John Mannigal,93, of Worthington,
died Tuesday, Jan. 20, 1998,
at Worthington Regional
Hospital.
Born March 4, 1904
in Rushmore, [Nobles County, MN],
he was the son of Fred and Kate Kaster Mannigal. He married Anna Johnson Sept. 7, 1935, in Worthington.
He attended country school near Rushmore. After marriage, he worked on a farm at the
Olson Creamery, ad then at Campbell
soup Co. until 1969.
He continued to work part time until 1983 for Worthington Hatchery.
Surviving are his wife, one daughter, Shirley (Robert)
Yates, Worthington; one sister, Alda Johnson, Worthington.; four
grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; and several step grandchildren and
step great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 2
to 5 p.m. and from 7 to 9pm Friday
at Benson Fruneral Home, Worthington.
The service will be 1 p.m.
Saturday at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Worthington,
with the Rev. James Brassfield officiating. Burial will be in Worthington
Cemetery.
